EL MILAGRO DE TEPEYAC 2
The title of this mural composition is “El Milagro” or “The Miracle”. This mural is a creative interpretation of the story of Clinica Tepeyac. I particularly find this story inspiring because of my own personal family connection with Clinica Tepeyac’s history, as well as the impact it has had on the Latino community of Denver. In this composition I explore the Mexican story of “Tepeyac” and its connection to Clinica Tepeyac. I am especially interested in depicting the dedicated community/people who’ve helped build Clinca Tepeyac from its past to the present. My vision is to depict a series of characters in action, express their human emotions, instinct, curiosity and creativity. My goal is to highlight these people in honor of their contributions, achievements, struggles, resilience and determination.
