Land of the Free - A Tribute to the American Bison
This sculpture installation is situated along the Public Plaza and within the conceptual site plan of the Docking Building. The tile of this installation is ‘Land of the Free’. This iconic monument represents the spirit of the Bison and its’ significance to the state of Kansas, as well as the impact it has had on our human existence. This art installation is intended to embrace the newly renovated Docking Building’s mission to honor community, nature, history and plans for the future through art. In addition, my goal is to create a unique and exciting space that is accessible and welcoming to all.
