MALINALLI
This sculpture represents a Nopal, or Cactus, in relation to the traditional Mexican philosophy of Malinalli. Malinalli is a Mexican Nahuatl word meaning “Braids of the Earth”. It is believed that Malinalli is the origin of all plants; physically composed of medicine and spiritually connected to the center of our galaxy.
